Cherrapunjee that records highest rainfall in India is a place not to be missed. I have read
about it in my geography books during my childhood. I Used to wonder about the beauty of this place. When we decided to travel to the North Eastern part of India, it was a wise decision that we took to visit Cherrapunjee. While I will be writing a separate article on Cherrapunjee this article is about spectacular views in sky when sun set and Moon rise together. Cherrapunjee being a place of stunning views of magnificent mountains, it was actually an awe inspiring scenery when the sun was setting and moon was rising. We were fortunate to have experienced those divine moments.
Sun set
This was the first scene during Sun set. By thus time we had not realized that Moon too is smiling on the other end.

Looking at this scene we realized a bit that moon too is around. We were following our gut feeling.

Although we wanted to capture both sun and moon together, in a single shot but somehow other than videos it was not being possible at all as they were facing each
other.

We ensured to pass on such moments to our followers. So. here are beautiful skies and hues captured while both heavenly bodies were out in the sky and looking at the mountains of Cherrapunjee.
Serene Moon
We never heard or read if such views ever in any itinerary or trips and believed we were very lucky to witness those once in a lifetime moments.

Specially since the moon was full, views were even more hypnotizing. Even kids enjoyed those
scenes.
Sun setting
Since we could see the top of mountain chain running along with us with moon shining bright in the sky, we were speechless to see the creation of God that evening.
