Buddha Dordenma Statue
Buddha Dordenma Statue was under construction when we went there in April. We learnt that this tall Buddha statue of 169ft will be the largest Buddha Rupas in the world upon its completion. The statue is made of bronze. The place will carry over one lakh smaller statues like Buddha Dordenma made of bronze.

The place was vast , neat and clean and amidst mountains. It was a serene and calm feeling with such a big Buddha statue in front. It was a instant feeling of being in front of divinity. We wanted to actually medidate there for long. Area around was green and fresh. We loved being there.
I would highly recommend this place to all visitors travelling to Thimpu. A must see site.
