I am a fan of Barbeque Nation. I make it a point to visit this lavish royal feasting destination regularly. This time the reason to visit was my son’s Birthday. We had planned and booked our dining in advance. The administration staff was very courteous and prompt and they ensured we had a smooth booking. In the evening when we reached, our table was already reserved.

The restaurant – Barbeque Nation at Unity One Mall is a spacious one and has 4 sections for seating.

In the middle is buffet table, live kitchen , kulfi station, desserts section, salads, main meals table.

The whole seating and dining arrangement was good enough to keep privacy of individual tables. Live music was on to provide an altogether different angle to the ambiance. One side also had aquarium that kept kids super busy.

Soon the starters started sizzling on our Barbeques.

I had chicken which was tender, spicy and juicy. It melted in my mouth satiating my taste buds. I always look forward to pineapple as it gives me a sweet and sour taste with crispiness. Then I had fish. It was excellent. They also specially prepared Amritsari fish for us.

I could feel the passion of cooking in it. It was delicious, smooth and crispy. Seekh kebab which I look forward to always, were up to the mark as expected. They were really good on spices. My son and father relished roasted chicken. My eyes were on mushrooms all the time. Veg kebabs and hara kebabs were great as well. Mashed potatoes and french fires were kids favourites. Not to forget, we were also treated with Gol Gappas. There were chillas , live snacks counter.

After having these delicacy snacks, we rested for a while and enjoyed the ambiance. We were already full with snacks.

Then I had my favourite BBQ Daal with Jaipuri veg. It was an excellent combination with biryani rice. This is a deadly combination for me always and irresistible.

I wanted to try Saag and Kesar Paneer, but was already full.

Kids later had a variey of cakes, pastries and ice creams. I had my favourit paan kulfi .

Service at Barbeque Nation

Staff at Barbeque Nation was courteous and prompt. They ensured to be pre emptive of our requirements. They were forthcoming in fulfilling kids whims and fancies. We loved being served by them. Barbeque Nation staff was celebrating the special occasions of all guests by singing songs and through live music and songs as well. My son was delighted to hear Birthday song for himself and also to see a surprise cake for him. It was such a nice gesture and a pleasant surprise for all of us.

I must say that the cake was delicious and very light on stomach.

It was overall a great experience to dine again at a Barbeque Nation outlet, this time at Unity One Mall, Janak Puri. Highly recommended.
