Radisson Blu Guwahati stands true to its name and brand with massive designer building and entrance with sophisticated interiors.

As I reached the hotel which is at a spectacular location on NH 37, a grand entrance with fountains and greenery welcomed us.

At the lobby, a big art work was the centre of attraction magnetizing the whole ambiance. Beautiful shades and seating arrangement with soothing colours camouflaged well with each other creating a luxurious ambiance.

Beyond the reception was Cafe B U offering Mediterranean, Indian and Asian cuisines. Furniture , buffet setting , salad and desserts counter created a fantabulous  ambiance. Food was not spicy at all and the lavish spread exceeded the needs of travellers be they expats, international or domestic guests. Cafe is excellent and needs a separate post.

There is another fine dining restaurant Nest Asia serving continental cuisine with utmost flavours and exotic interiors.

Ambiance of our room

Ours was a superior room with a view to natural surroundings , railway track and little water bodies. It was a breather to enter the room with a grand view. We all loved it. Room was equipped with all modern amenities including study area, coffee maker, iron table, electronic safe, mini bar, bath tub in the washroom, shower closet , hair dryer and weighing machine. I immediately fell in love with my room.

While we were enjoying our stay at Radisson Blu Guwahati, suddenly we realized a train passing by honking as if saying hello to us. We immediately ran to the window out if curiosity and there it was. The moment of lifetime.

Exceptional service was provided by staff at Front Office. Ms. Gayatri there was prompt enough to solve our queries related to our room or property. Mr. Saurabh Pant guided us on our trip and sightseeing.

Regarding services, you name it, you get it. Staff would even anticipate your requirements.

Our in room dining was also perfect. Each and every interaction with the staff was nice. It was clear that the staff was treating us with their passion and ensured our convenience and satisfaction. High speed WiFi was available 24 hours and accessible throughout the property. This was a biggest plus for me.

The hotel has 196 well appointed rooms under categories – Standard, Superior, Business, Executive Suite and Presidential Suite. There are conference rooms, Business Lounge, salon, fitness centre.

Swimming pool had a great ambiance around. Surrounded with greenery and well laid beds. It can also be used to hold a pool side party. There was another area beyond pool normally used to hold parties.

Overall, it was a superb stay at the world class hotel, Radisson Blu Guwahati. We and kids loved every moment spent at Radisson Blu Guwahati. Highly recommended property.
