13 Tips While Travelling With Toddlers!

Travelling with infants and Toddlers is really not easy. If not set right initially, kids can actually spoil your trip and also the passengers who get trapped with your kid. Below are 13 tips while travelling with toddlers. Whenever travelling, first choose a destination that has a flexible means of transport. I personally travelled by car to be flexible with kid’s requirements. But if not possible then one has to take extra precautions while travelling with toddlers. Few things to do while travelling with your little ones.

Start mentally preparing your toddler for the means of transport you will take for your destination.
If flying, then try to do web check in. This will avoid extra time on Airport. Try to board the plane with the priority call of families.It will help you place the luggage with ease. If not possible, don’t worry. Its OK.
To avoid pressure in ears while landing and take off, feed your kid with water or milk.
Take two extra clothing for your kid and one extra change for yourself handy.
Take a kitchen towel handy in case required.
Although air crew is helpful enough and provides cleaning kit. But to be on the safer side, it is better to carry kitchen towels, bibs and wet tissues in the cabin. It becomes handy in car or train as well.
Once you reach the destination, ensure to make your ward wear sound producing shoes. It will help you know about whereabouts of your child.
As the child sometimes crawls or walks, be around them all the time to ensure that they are not eating anything from the floor or putting fingers in electric sockets.
Carry enough milk powders,cookies,sweets, diapers, wet tissues, bibs, bottle cleaners
Don’t forget to carry electric cooker for some quick cooking at the hotel room
Carry two pair of shoes as kids can wet or dirty them
Plastic sheets and one small blanket are good to bring to make your child cosy when needed
Last but not the least- medicines for stomach ache, fever, diarrhea, cold and cough, antiseptic solutions are a must
