Casela World of Adventures is one of its kind in Mauritius. We were really excited and curious to experience the place. We knew there would be unique experiences like Interaction with lions and more.

When we reached the Casela World of Adventures, apart from distinctive experiences it even had picturesque location. So, below are strong 5 reasons to visit Casela World of Adventures.

1. Interaction with Lions at Casela World of Adventures

From the point in the above photograph, we boarded our bus for Lion Safari. We eagerly waited for our turn for Interactions with Lions.

I was a bit scared initially but had full faith on authorities. So entered the vicinity of Lions with a little brave heart. Everyone was excited to pat lions at their back. My memory of lifetime arrived when I got to touch the Lion at its back. Wow, such a great feeling it was. I could never ever had imagined I would do something like this. It was a terrific moment. Lion’s fur was very healthy and strong. I felt blessed to have felt the skin of the world’s most powerful animal. I did not even stay there for two minutes. But whatever time I got, it was fulfilling and worth.

Lions were well behaved and tamed. Since these lions grow up with humanism there are more like a family to them and harmless. Two guards are always with visitors to ensure no lapses take place. Guards always carry a stick with them to ensure lions respect them. Sticks are provided to us for same reasons.

2. Interaction with Tigers

Next was Tigers area. All tigers were relaxing in the sunny day.

3. Interaction with Caracals

Then it was the turn for interaction with Caracals. The cat was tough to stay at one place.

So, when I tried to chase her, authorities in the chamber helped me. They made it sit at a point where I could interact with her. In this area, sticks were not required. But everywhere one must follow instructions from authorities, else you may be expelled from the experience.

It was a lovely experience.

4. Interaction with Giraffes

Next was interaction with Giraffes.

Yet another thrilling experience worth spending money on. Giraffes had lined up and waiting for their feeders. My friends fed them with eatbles already kept for them.

I too touched Giraffes and felt the divine God’s creation. I was experiencing all this for the first time in my life and these were really special moments for me. Views too were nice with lush green gardens.

On our way to Ostrich area, we saw Kudus and various beautiful birds.

5. Interaction with Ostrich at Casela World of Adventures

As we reached the area of Ostriches, it was like as if they were waiting for us. When our bus reached there. Ostriches welcomed us.

Few of them were even hyper and expected some food from the bus window. They started hitting the bus rod. Few girls in the bus even got scared.

I was elated to see the Ostrich.

We also saw its egg.

After this, we had some snacks at the restaurant. I was amazed to see Chef and team prepare buttermilk. I loved their effort as it was so Indian. Then they soeciually prepared a Masala chain containing basil and cinnamon. Again, very Indian and relaxing after the thrilling trip to the safari world. View from the restaurant was breathtaking.

We could have easily spent two dull days at Casela World of Adventures to enjoy more activities like zip line, quad biking, 4D movie, Avalanche Mine, Canyoning, fishing sand more.

But we had to now leave. So, I loved being there and indeed this is a place not to be missed whenever in Mauritius due to strong 5 reasons mentioned above.
