At the entrance of Barbeque Nation

I have visited Mumbai only once for 4/5 days and have loved it for being people friendly, good transport and eating joints and street food. When I heard that the renowned restaurant chain- Barbeque Nation is bringing Mumbai’s renowned Mohammed Ali Road to Delhi itself, I was amazed at the concept and couldn’t wait to be there.

Ambiance

As I entered the venue, it was all lit up with glittering lights and staff wearing topi and scarves at the back with Pathani suits. The whole atmosphere was as if Eid celebrations were on and people having gala time. I could see various stalls like Hussain Kebab corner and Pulao Ganj. It was a real happening place celebrating Eid. I just loved the overall ambiance and how festive decoration had camouflaged with it.

Normally Barbeque Nation serves a blend of American, Mediterranean, Oriental and Indian cuisine both veg and non veg options.

But this time it was turn of savouring the most enticing and succulent street food of the world, street food of Mohammed Ali Road in Mumbai. As I settled, I was served with shammi kebab, seek kebab, corns cutlets. Although I am a non vegetarian, but I relished corn cutlets. It was lusciously irresistible. I also had Tandoor Bater Mussallam and must say, it was delectable while being topped with onion rings and lemon with a side of mint chutney. This was my favourite as well. Rane Ghost was mouthwatering having perfect blend of spices and ingredients. I enjoyed every bite of it.

Enticing vegetarian snacks on Tawa

Grilled snacks including pineapple, corns, mushrooms and chicken have always satiated my taste buds. These snacks did not let me down this time around as well. I always look forward to these signature snacks of Barbeque Nation.

After the grand extravaganza of snacks, I got lured to desserts – malpua, gulab jamun, brownie, ice creams, kheer and many more. Kulfi at the other counter had got its own incredible presentations. Brownie, malpua and Badsah falooda is a must have.

Service

Serving staff was courteous. Although the restaurant was extremely busy but all guests were properly attended.

There was a great performance by staff of Barbeque Nation on the murgi song of hit movie Bajrangi Bhaijan.

I must say it was a successful implementation of a brilliant idea. I highly recommend foodies to savour the flavours of Barbeque Nation’s Mohammed Ali Road festival. As Uday Menon , Chief Business Officer , Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd rightly said, the festival is indeed a culinary delight for foodies. Manish Pandey , Regional Operations Manager, North , Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd rightly states that flavours of Mughlai, Lucknowi and Hyderabad cuisines have actually pleased the palettes of diners.
