I happened to interact with German Ambassador- H.E. Mr. Michael Steiner during press conference of Germany as a tourist destination. Below is a snapshot of interaction.
Question- How do cross cultural interactions benefit the society in the world in your opinion?
Although there are many programs on internet and other sources but first hand Cross cultural educational sessions or interactions benefit the society because these interactions are personal and authentic. It touches people more even if cultures are different. People get fascinated by the various aspects be it dance, music , art or cultures, traditions etc. World heritage sites have their own interesting angle and histories.
Question – Which is your favourite destination in Germany?
I like Bavaria , Berlin is happening and Hamburg.
Question- What is your favourite Indian destination?
I love India as a tourist destination. I like Kerala , Tamil Nadu, Kashmir, its Dal lake, Varanasi, Mumbai, Delhi, UP, Bihar. Almost all of India due to its cultural heritage, historical monuments and traditions. I am delighted to see women empowerment in parts of India.
