We had reached London around 12pm. After immigration and getting to our Hotel Thistle London Heathrow, we freshened up and rested for a while. We were a group of some 12 people. All of us decided to head to Windsor Castle and enjoy the area around it. The Palace was closed from inside it being 5pm but still decided to visit the location. It was indeed beautiful!

The area around is very neat and clean. We were really eager to go inside but good that at least we could make it to see from outside.

There are shops all around. There is a royal shopping complex which houses premium brands.

After moving around, we spotted a Mc Donald’s restaurant and had plain mozzarella burgers there along with fries.

We also headed to the train station to have a feel of it.

It was a lovely evening. After a while, we headed to the river Thames which was just five minutes walk from the area. Oh! It was beautiful. With greenery all around and houses by its side, the river looked beautiful! There were ducks that welcomed us.

We stood there for a while then headed to the bridge. It was so nice to stand there. We spent good 15-20 minutes.

It was a pleasant weather and a good view. I wondered about the people living in  those houses. They must be all the time refreshed living by the water body.

Then we headed to the interiors where there were more shops, houses, restaurants. We kept walking and entered a big green patch. We had a gala time there. It was already 8pm by then and sun was about to set.

On our way back, we saw people running, jogging, moving around with pets, cycling. It was a happening place and we loved our evening spent.
