Winters are more enjoyable specially for foodies who love to eat variety and piping hot. What happens when such a thing happens at one of the best hotels in Noida! Well, I am talking about Leela Ambience Convention Hotel! They are organizing Int’l Barbecue Food Festival right from European, Oriental, American to Indian barbecue! The festival started on 26th January.

I was invited to review the food. I was quite hungry when I reached Noida from Delhi. My overall experience at the festival was good which you can see below.

It was an open area with big casual wooden dining set ups. I loved the ambiance owing to it being open air and all dining tables under umbrellas and little shelters on grillers and counters. The colour combination of furniture went well.

As I looked through various counters, there were salads, breads, desserts.

There was a special counter for cheese! Cheese alone counter was the most popular counter amongst foodies.

Live counters were getting ready to serve us hot barbecue. By the time, it was quite sunny and I loved sitting outside.

Food and drinks at Int‘l Barbecue Food Festival

First of all I has my favourite Fresh lime soda mixed which was just awesome with perfect quantity of salt and sugar. Not everyone can make it right. Then I had chicken Barbecue Chicken from European Barbecue menu. It was soft, tender and juicy.

Grilled lamb chops were really appealing and had perfect blend of spices. It was a bit hard though. Baked potatoes were enticing and delicious.

Then I had roasted chicken which was again mouthwatering.

I sneaked a little to have corn salad, chickpeas salad and ceaser salad. I loved them all. They were all irristably prepared and presented. I just wanted to keep munching but then I had to take care of my stomach as well.

Desserts simply satiated my taste buds. Be it strawberry cake or plum cake or even cheese cake, I loved them all.

Having tasted so much, I was already full but could not resist ice cream with smoked fruits. Oh, it was lipsmacking! Would visit the restaurant anytime to taste that ice cream.

Service

Very prompt and respectful staff served me. My need was readily taken care of. Service was fast and prompt while being courteous.

Overall, avoid experience.
