This article tells you about step by step preparation of Lasagne.

This time Vidya prepared Lasagne. Since I love it, I wanted to know the recipe of the same and share it across as the final result was enticing.



Recipe of Lasagne

Preparation of Pasta dough

Raw ingredients required- Equal parts of maida and sooji. Salt and 2-3 tsp oil.

Steps to prepare dough

1  Make a stiff dough with warm water.cover n keep aside for abt an hour

2. Later roll it out like paratha according to size of ur baking dish

3. Cook in boiling water to which some salt n oil has been added.Cook for 6-7 min.set aside

4. This is your lasagne sheet

Ingredients required- Cut tomatoes,onion,potatoes and onions…all in circle shapes.


1. Boil the only potato a little or it won’t get baked properly.
2.Take a baking dish and put all these veggies in it.Season with salt,pepper, little oil,oregano,italian mixed seasonings and chilli flakes.

3. Bake for 15 min at 200 degrees.

4. Set aside.


Ingredents required –  Hot water..add tomatoes,onion and 1-2 cloves garlic (optional but tastes much better with garlic).


1. Boil till soft. Blend in the mixie.
2. Take a pan add the above puree, add salt,pepper,oregano,chilli flakes and some grated cheese,bring to a boil stirring constantly. Sauce is ready.

Assembling of the dish

Take a baking dish,grease it. Add first sheet of lasagne, top with grated cheese and the sauce, add veggies,second layer of lasagne and repeat the same process.





3rd layer on top and add rest of the sauce ,no veggies in the top layer,add lots of grated mozzarella cheese and bake @200 degrees for half an hour. Serve hot
