Mercure Legian Bali is a property very aptly located in Bali, right near the shopping areas. Having direct access to market, this hotel is at an advantage. Its a 30 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International airport.

At the entrance there is an open area with greeneryn and fountain. On the right there is a restaurant. Beyond this open area, there is a lobby. Behind lobby, there is computer centre. Rooms start from the first upper floor.

I stayed in this hotel twice in the same trip. First time my room was fantabulous. It had all facilities and a big balcony with chairs laid out.

In my second visit, my room was again very nice and comfortable but this time it was without a balcony.

I liked my bathroom as well. Room was nicely done with a study table.

Food

Food was awesome. We were served delicious and specially curated dinner for us during evenings. Snacks were lip smacking and desserts were mouthwatering. The food was very nicely prepared and appealing.

Breakfast was buffet system. I used to love potato cutlets. There used to be a variety of food. All my friends who loved seafood and other non vegetarian food, they relished their meals at Mercure Legian.

Service at the restaurant was good. The hotel had two swimming pools and also excellent WiFi connectivity in rooms.

Reception staff too was friendly and cooperative. However, there were situations when I called late in the night at the reception, no one would pick the phone. But I guess, such situations are rare.

Everything else was good. I loved the ambiance and food and also the location. Mercure Legian Bali is very near to Sky Gardedn, the biuggest night club in the whole of Asia.
