Ta Prohm temple is one of the oldest temples of Khmer’s civilisation of Hariharalaya.

This civilisation flourished around 9th and 10th Century have now an important cultural aspect of Combodia.

It is located around 1 km east of Angkor Thom.

You must see the trees out there. They are so eerie!

I was a bit skeptical but had to go see how it feels being near roots of these scary trees.

But then, I loved being there. The feeling was different and has indeed left a mark in my memory.

Trees were so special that I had to talk about them in India. It’s astonishing to see these trees decorating the temple in a unique way. Due to the structure of temples and magnificent roots of these trees, temple is famous on the world and is in the list World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

The temple has got carvings on walls and look beautiful. The design and architecture are really nice and worth observing.

The conservation and restoration of Ta Prohm is a partnership project of the Archaeological Survey of India and the APSARA (Authority for the Protection and Management of Angkor and the Region of Siem Reap).

People around the world come here to see the magic.
